Hurley Doodles Dog Blog

WOOF! Thanks for checking out my blog! I noticed I had some readers from Germany and Canada who came on my page to see how I am doing! Thank you..and lots from the USA..! I posted some pictures of my cysts. One picture is when they ruptured in March and my mom took one today. They are healing well. My mom tells me it's from all the prayers and support I am getting...so thank you!! Keep praying for me that this infection goes away then I can get my surgery!

Today my family got back on their schedule. Spring break is over and back to school. Not really happy about that. I like it when they are home. I like all the noise and my family being around me. I don't like when they are not in my eyesight. I rather have them here than be alone, at least my mom puts on the Animal Planet when she leaves. She thinks that keeps me busy and content.(I'll let her keeping thinking that)..when they leave I don't have time to watch tv.. I will read the paper (or eat it), organize the shoes (or chew them), make the beds (or roll in them), fluff the pillows (or play with the cotton in them)..I think you understand. So my time is spent wisely, I would say. I always get in trouble..I hear the key in the door get all excited, meet them at the door and they start looking all over the place seeing what I did. I run over to show them what I did!! I cant wait for them to come home and see what had me so busy!! You got to understand, we are wired differently than you guys. What's that saying? When the humans are away the dogs gotta play?

Oh yeah...finally my mom took me to my spot tonight. You know, the field I go to so I can run my doodle off....I can't go play with my own kind until these cysts are off my head. So we make do with the big field. (it took her all day to take me to the field). Anyway, we pulled up and there were two geese in the grass. My mom said there was a bird and I started checking out the area. Yup..spotted them. She opened the door and I flew to them geese. They didn't even have time to HONK..I chased them geese til they were out of my eyesight...my day was made. Oh my doodle, if I could catch one...

I heard my mom say the other day I needed a bath. Good grief...I am hoping she forgets she mentioned that word. I think she wants to forget it too. It is drama. I think though it may happen, for real tomorrow. So can you tonight please pray for rain tomorrow?? If it rains she won't give me a bath!!
