Rain, Rain Go Away..Here Comes A Pretty Day!

Hello to all my friends!! I am hoping you guys had a doodle of a weekend!! As you can see in the picture above I had a rainy Sunday. It poured and poured. I did not go out to play. I actually would of loved to run like crazy and splash in some puddles, but I didn't get to. I thought about it all day Sunday. Every time my mom would take me out I would run straight to the standing water. At one point in the day, I sat down and looked at her while we both were being poured on. She looked and me and I her. I know what I was thinking....how come she didn't have an umbrella. I mean if it's rainy out there she should bring something to cover herself. I just can't "get busy" as soon as I go out. It takes time. ( yes, even in the rain) to find that right spot. She is out there telling me to "hurry up". Well, if she had an umbrella she wouldn't get wet and I would have time to sniff around. Sometimes, I wish I could just talk and tell her what's on my mind. (I hope she reads this blog..then maybe she'll get an umbrella).

Today was a better day!! Actually everyday is a good day! I get to wake up and be with my family all day! It was just a normal day..but a little bit of excitement! I was laying on the couch minding my own business and noticed in the corner of my eye...a big blue ball rolling around on my porch. I jumped off my couch and flew to the porch door. Trying to figure out why that ball was rolling all around. I didn't see another dog out there pushing it or any of my family playing with it. I am looking all around checking out the entire porch figuring out how that big blue ball was moving. Of course, I had to give a WOOF to make it stop. Let my mom know I am in protective mode. I know, I know...I'm a doodle. I don't bite, I don't growl..but every now and then I like to bark..let things, like that big blue ball, think I am in control.

Here's me today..all dried up and happy and with my brother, Joshua. From yesterday..soaked..and today beautiful! Took forever for my mom to brush me. I do not like to be brushed and having to sit still that long. That is one thing I just don't like. My mom has to comb through my coat. It's kinda like you beautiful people! All that mess you have to go through to look gorgeous. Just like me...all that combing, brushing and clipping...but look at me! I think I am cute :)

Tomorrow is my doctors appt. I go in at 3:00. I get to see Doctor Genovese. He is going to look at my infection and make sure it is healing well. My mom says she thinks it is!! I think my mom said next week I get a culture done on my infection. If it comes back negative I get to have surgery. That means I get these cysts off my head!!

Thank you for reading my blog! If you have time check out my favorite website! www.doodlemessenger.webs.com/doodleinneedhurley.htm they have my story and other doodles on there that are in need of help. The Doodle Messenger helps us doodles stay with our family and get the medical care we need. Its because of their hard work to get our stories out there and you all. You are donating money to help us live and be healthy! Please go on there and read about the other doodles. They all have a story and need help too! If you read a story on a doodle that needs help, please look for their veterinarians information on their page. It will have their address and telephone number to their office. You can write a check for that doodle to mail or call and donate by credit card to help them!

Have a great night! I will let you all know how my doctor visit goes tomorrow!!
